Entertainment evolves and can be adapted to suit any scale, from the individual who chooses his or her own private entertainment from a now enormous array of pre-recorded products, to a banquet adapted for two, to performances geared to thousands of spectators and even a global audience. For example, the story of Scheherazade (a professional storytelling tradition) has inspired multiple musical adaptations and a video game.
