Entertainment is a wide category of leisure activities. It is often used to make people feel good, as it may stimulate their brains to realease seratonin and dopamine. It can also have a dark side as it hits on the themes that our minds were evolved to deeply react to, such as backstabbing, murders and other social behaviors. It has a high capacity for creative remix, resulting in the longevity of many themes and images across different forms of media. It is the topic of our Fall 2011 issue of T E News, Transformational Entertainment News. The word comes from the Latin intertenere, and its Indo-European root ten, meaning to hold inside.
